1st Annual meeting of researchers and first meeting of the Project Council.

Project Team

On November 25, 2025, the first Annual Meeting (AM) of the EnFiCab researchers took place. The meeting was organised by a team from the University of West Bohemia (UWB) and was held in a hybrid form at the Purkmistr Hotel in Pilsen. A total of 12 people from all three national teams involved in the project participated in the meeting. During the meeting, the project’s status at the end of the first year, dissemination activities to date, and the newly created project website were presented. This was followed by a report and discussion on the selection of raw materials, sample preparation, and optimisation, followed by a summary of the results of mechanical and dielectric property measurements to date. The members of the research team were also familiarised with all the necessary aspects related to the Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). A model LCA case study was also presented to the meeting participants. The meeting concluded with an overview of planned activities for the second year of the project and information about the preparation of the next AM, which will be organised by the Polymer Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (PISAS) in 2026.

The AM in Pilsen was followed by the first meeting of the EnFiCab Project Board (PB). The PB consists of one representative from each partner institution and is comprised of Radek Polanský (UWB), Anna Vykydalová (PISAS), and Barbara Horvat (EIMV). The PB discusses the research framework of the entire project, monitors the fulfilment of research objectives, determines the use of project results, and is responsible for communication with national agencies and the preparation of annual reports. The focus of the first meeting of the PB was the preparation of the first utility model, which is planned to be registered in July 2026. Other items on the agenda included preparations for the first meeting of the External Advisory Board (EAB), scheduled for December 1, 2025; the preparation of annual reports at the individual national levels; and an overview of the project budget.
