Stakeholders meeting at the Technical Standardization Committee session

On May 21, 2026, a stakeholders meeting was held at the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMZ) in Prague with industry experts and representatives of companies specializing in cable technology. The meeting took place as part of the Technical Standardization Committee TNK 68 (Cables and Wires), attended by leading specialists from the cable industry and the field of technical standardization. The main objective of the meeting was to present the EnFiCab project, familiarize the experts in attendance with the scientific and research results to date, and open a discussion on the practical implementation of the newly developed cable insulation. The experts in attendance heard the project’s core vision, learned about its current development status, and, in the ensuing debate, provided the research team with valuable feedback on the technical requirements key to the successful introduction of innovative materials into industrial practice.
